Model F Ford Restoration

The Crew

Bev, my wife.

She does a lot more that I probably realize. She listens as I detail plans and activities. She keeps me from forgetting trivial details - - like when to eat, sleep and pay bills.

She also keeps the fridge and pantry in the shop full for the guy's (and me).

She believes - - I think of nothing else but this project.....
Lowell VanHorn, Friend and Master Craftsman

Does wood work, anything mechanical and brainstorms with me.

Keeps me from making too many mistakes.

Gene Kristoffy comes to us from the Motor City where he has a great shop.

He has built many mechanical parts for the two cylinder cars.

Lucas Keune has graduated from High School and is going to ISU in August 2007.

He is learning everything we do in the shop. He is a really good kid and eager to learn. He has already learned how to eat - he likes snacks. Polishing brass is not a favorite.

He has been with us for his hish school carear.
Brandon Holthaus has moved on but has not been forgotten.

After graduating from High School he attended NASCAR Technical Institute near Charlotte NC and graduated successfully. He is now working at Butler Built Seats in Concord, NC

I am very proud of Brandon already and who knows he may become a NASCAR star someday!!

Morgan McP is one of our latest trainees.

We have started her, as we do all new workers, by teaching her the Art of Brass Polishing. She seems to enjoy the Art and is learning quickly.

Next will be LOF (Lube, Oil, Filters).
Brady Bill is our youngest trainee.

He only spends limitted time in the shop as he is just learning to get dirty.

We expect great things from him as he already has learned to walk.
Cole. Neighbor lad.

We are excited to start him and doesn't have a girl friend yet (that was in 8th grade).

Another big plus for us is that he is not out for sports yet.

Click to see Cole in action.

Jarrett, another neighbor lad.

Meet Jarrett, brother of our now famous Brandon.

After his first day, I'm impressed.

I'll bet he learns to sweep the floor and polish brass as well as his brother did.
